Two Black Knight!

Here's a fun set of covers.

First you have John Buscema's outstanding rendering on the cover of Avengers #54, showing the Assemblers Goliath, Hawkeye, and the Black Panther in shackles being confronted by the Masters of Evil (who at that moment included Radioactive Man, Melter, Klaw, and Whirlwind). The Wasp is in a glass jar in Klaw's mitts. The Black Knight is bursting into the scene from the black, whether to the rescue or not an open question since he was largely an unknown at this point.

Then this comic gets reprinted some years later and Steve Ditko creates the same scene, but from the reverse perspective. It's lacking the dramatic tension of Buscema's original for sure, but it's kind of neat to see this from another angle.

Rip Off
